Cocolvu NZ is a joined effort that combines the inexhaustible talent of Coco and the vision of Adriana that brings mexican style home decor to your doorstep.
Cocolvu NZ is an explosion of colour and design, ranging from prints and home decor to larger canvases like the walls of restaurants and shops, bringing Mexican culture, flair, and folklore right to your doorstep.

Coco was born in Mexico City, amidst a family where painting and music were a daily pleasure and distraction, thus, he grew up among oil paintings, paintbrushes, charcoal pencils, art books and vinyl records music, that marked many of his childhood memories. In this context, and because he was a restless child, art was a the natural resource course with on which to channel his energy.
Coco had an Art and Design residence in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and sometime after that, he studied Illustration in Barcelona, where teachers from various countries assessed and helped polish Cocolvu’s talent.
Coco has had exhibitions and collaborations in Mexico City, Tokyo and Osaka in Japan; in Galicia and Madrid in Spain; in Berlin, Paris, San Jose in Costa Rica, and Panama City.
As far as brand names are concerned, his clients contribute with a wide variety of satisfiers, through very diverse marketing: Amnesty International; Bic; Converse; Crayola; Danone; Dell; DiDi; Disney; Facebook; Ford; Grupo Modelo; Grupo Vasconia; Instagram; Microsoft; Nestle; Nike; Nivea; Perrier; Revlon, Vans; Virgin, amongst many others.

Adriana was born and raised in Mexico, surrounded by color, music, passion and the inherent desire to celebrate all that life has to offer. Six years ago, she relocated to New Zealand and now calls Matakana home.
With a background in experimental graphic design, her journey through the field of visual arts has been an eclectic and broad one, working across many disciplines including mutli-media formats, both static and moving, illustration, graphic design, visuals for live shows, interactive and high-end visual effects for film and television. For over 18 years she has been developing an eye for the arts and possesses a great attention to detail.
Visual arts are her passion and it is with this passion that she now introduces Cocolvu to New Zealand.
